Description

The GHQ42105 immersible ultrasonic transducer bar provides multi-directional acoustic cavitation for industrial cleaning, sonochemical processing, degassing, defoaming, and liquid emulsification. Built with an elongated hexagonal profile, the housing integrates four active radiating faces driven by high-output industrial piezoelectric transducers. The two remaining narrow facets serve as rigid weld seams and structural supports.

This modular immersible configuration mounts directly into cleaning tanks, reaction vessels, and processing lines without requiring alterations to existing tank structures.

Frequency Selection

  • 28 kHz: Generates high-intensity cavitation bubbles with powerful mechanical impact. Intended for heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as removing heavy grease, rust, carbon deposits, scale, and engine block contaminants.
  • 40 kHz: Produces higher cavitation density with moderate mechanical stress. Intended for general parts washing, precision electronics, optical substrates, medical devices, and fine-pitch components.

Structural Design & Customization

Inside the enclosure, 42 industrial-grade piezoelectric transducers bond directly to the four principal interior walls. This configuration projects uniform acoustic energy through the surrounding liquid across 360 degrees.

Custom Manufacturing Options

  • Alloy Selection: Standard SUS304 for aqueous solutions; SUS316 (2.5 mm) for aggressive cleaning agents; titanium or hard chrome surface plating for corrosive acids and abrasive slurries.
  • Geometry: 4-sided hexagonal bars, rectangular immersion boxes, square profiles, or cylindrical immersion probes.
  • Lead Connections: Stainless steel braided flexible hose, rigid extension pipes, or sealed bulkhead fittings.

Industrial Applications

Ultrasonic liquid defoaming, dispersion, and emulsification performance in laboratory beakers

  • Liquid Defoaming & Degassing: Removes entrapped air and accelerates bubble dissipation in chemical resins, paints, coatings, beverages, and cosmetic slurries.
  • Dispersion & Emulsification: Disperses agglomerated solid particles and synthesizes stable oil-water or liquid-liquid emulsions at sub-micron scales.
  • Parts Cleaning: Strips stamping oils, polishing pastes, metal chips, and particulate debris from automotive parts, pipe interiors, and injection molds.
  • Sonochemical Extraction: Accelerates mass transfer rates in botanical extraction systems and chemical reaction columns.

Installation Configurations

The immersible transducer bar supports three primary mounting orientations to accommodate varied vessel architectures:
Transducer element assembly, tank cavitation test, and top, bottom, side installation diagrams

  • Top-Mounted (Suspended): Suspends vertically from the top rim of the tank. Facilitates simple maintenance and removal during batch cleaning cycles.
  • Bottom-Mounted: Rests or bolts along the bottom floor of the vessel, projecting cavitation energy upward through the liquid bath.
  • Side-Mounted (Lateral): Mounts horizontally through side bulkheads or along tank walls, maintaining an open workspace along the vessel centerline.

Operating Guidelines & Precautions

  • Full Submersion Required: The active bar must remain fully submerged in liquid prior to powering on the generator. Dry operation will result in rapid overheating and catastrophic transducer failure.
  • Workpiece Clearance: Maintain a minimum distance of 2 mm between treated parts and the transducer surface to prevent acoustic dampening and localized cavitation pitting.
  • Duty Cycle Management: The industrial transducer assembly supports extended production runs. When running continuously for long intervals, allow an intermittent cooling pause of 3 minutes or more to prevent thermal overload.
  • Chemical Restrictions: Compatible with neutral or mild water-soluble detergents. Do not expose standard SUS304 to strong inorganic acids or concentrated caustic solutions without upgrading to SUS316 or titanium.
  • Generator Protection: Position the digital generator in a dry, ventilated cabinet away from fluid splash, mist, and chemical vapors.

Production & Quality Control

Each production run undergoes strict quality control protocols, including automated transducer bonding verification, precision TIG joint sealing, hydrostatic leak testing, and a full-load burn-in test prior to dispatch.
