Description

The GHQ3075 immersible ultrasonic transducer bar delivers acoustic cavitation for industrial cleaning, sonochemical dispersion, emulsification, and liquid defoaming. Built with an elongated hexagonal profile, the unit integrates four active radiating faces fitted with industrial-grade piezoelectric transducers. The two remaining narrow facets provide mechanical rigidity and internal conduit routing.

This immersible design allows direct retrofitting into existing wash tanks, processing vessels, or automated lines without structural tank modifications.

Operating Frequency Selection

  • 28 kHz: Generates high-impact cavitation bubbles. Engineered for heavy industrial degreasing, carbon removal, rust stripping, and cleaning engine blocks or heavy castings.
  • 40 kHz: Produces higher bubble density with gentler mechanical action. Engineered for precision components, electronics, fine optics, and parts with blind holes.

Structural Engineering & Custom Fabrication

Each bar contains 30 pre-stressed industrial transducers mechanically bonded to the inner walls of the four primary facets. This configuration outputs a uniform multi-directional acoustic field inside the bath.

Customization Options

  • Media-Resistant Alloys: Standard 2.0 mm SUS304; 2.5 mm SUS316 for chemical processing; hard chrome plating or titanium plate for abrasive slurries and acidic environments.
  • Geometrical Cross-Sections: 4-sided active hexagonal bars, square cross-sections, or cylindrical immersible probes.
  • Cable Protection: Stainless steel braided hose, rigid stainless pipe extensions, or waterproof side-wall bulkheads.

Applications

Ultrasonic liquid defoaming, chemical dispersion, and emulsification performance in glass beakers

  • Liquid Defoaming & Degassing: Removes entrapped air and accelerates foam collapse in resins, coatings, cosmetics, and chemical solutions.
  • Dispersion & Emulsification: Breaks down agglomerates to produce stable nanoscale suspensions and oil-water emulsions.
  • Parts Cleaning: Removes machining oils, polishing compounds, and particulate matter from machined components, molds, and tubes.
  • Sonochemical Extraction: Enhances mass transfer rates in extraction and reaction processes.

Installation Methods

The transducer bar accommodates three installation configurations depending on liquid level and internal clearance:
Internal transducer array, water cavitation test, and top, bottom, side mounting diagram

  • Top-Mounted (Suspension): The bar suspends vertically from the top rim into the bath. Recommended for deep tanks and batch operations.
  • Bottom-Mounted: The bar rests horizontally or mounts upright on the tank floor, directing cavitation energy upward.
  • Side-Mounted (Lateral): The bar inserts through the vessel sidewall via sealed flange fittings, maintaining a clear open tank interior.

Operating Precautions

  • Submersion: The transducer bar must remain submerged in liquid during operation. Operating dry causes rapid overheating and ruins internal components.
  • Workpiece Clearance: Maintain at least 2 mm clearance between workpieces and the vibrating surfaces to prevent acoustic damping and pitting.
  • Duty Cycle & Thermal Management: Industrial transducer sets allow extended operation; an intermittent pause (≥3 minutes) is recommended during prolonged runs to prevent thermal stress.
  • Chemistry: Use neutral or mild water-soluble cleaning agents. Concentrated acids or alkalis require custom titanium or SUS316 construction.
  • Generator Protection: Install the digital generator in a dry, ventilated area away from fluid spray and chemical vapors.

Production & Quality Control

Every immersible bar undergoes automated transducer bonding, precision TIG welding, hydrostatic seal verification, and a continuous multi-hour burn-in trial before dispatch.
