Description

The GHQ3690 immersible ultrasonic transducer bar provides multi-directional acoustic cavitation for industrial cleaning, sonochemical processing, liquid degassing, defoaming, and emulsification. Engineered with an elongated hexagonal cross-section, the bar integrates four active radiating faces driven by high-output industrial piezoelectric transducers. The remaining two narrow facets function as rigid structural supports and cable conduits.

This immersible configuration retrofits directly into existing cleaning tanks, storage containers, and processing vessels without altering existing tank architecture.

Operating Frequency Selection

  • 28 kHz: Generates high-energy cavitation with large vapor bubbles. Recommended for heavy-duty degreasing, rust stripping, carbon removal, engine overhauls, and cast iron parts.
  • 40 kHz: Produces higher bubble density with moderate mechanical impact. Recommended for precision components, electronics, fine optics, and parts with blind holes.

Structural Engineering & Customization

The interior of each bar houses 36 pre-stressed industrial transducers bonded to the inner walls of the four primary faces. This arrangement outputs a balanced acoustic field across 360 degrees of the surrounding liquid volume.

Custom Fabrication Options

  • Corrosion-Resistant Alloys: Standard 2.0 mm SUS304; 2.5 mm SUS316 for chemical solutions; hard chrome plating or titanium alloy for acidic baths and abrasive slurries.
  • Profile Geometries: 4-sided active hexagonal rods, square bars, or cylindrical probes.
  • Cable Protection: Stainless steel flexible conduit, rigid extension pipes, or water-tight bulkhead connectors.

Applications

Ultrasonic liquid defoaming, dispersion, and emulsification test results in laboratory beakers

  • Liquid Defoaming & Degassing: Accelerates bubble coalescence and eliminates trapped air in resins, paints, coatings, beverages, and cosmetic emulsions.
  • Dispersion & Emulsification: Breaks down particulate agglomerates to yield stable sub-micron suspensions and uniform oil-water blends.
  • Parts Cleaning: Strips machining oils, polishing paste, dust, and chips from metal components, pipes, and injection molds.
  • Extraction & Sonochemistry: Accelerates mass transfer rates in extraction vessels and chemical reactors.

Installation Methods

The transducer bar accommodates three installation positions based on tank depth, liquid level, and material handling clearances:
Internal transducer assembly, cavitation test, and top, bottom, side installation diagram

  • Top-Mounted (Suspended): The bar suspends vertically from the tank lip into the liquid. Suitable for deep tanks and batch operations.
  • Bottom-Mounted: The bar mounts vertically or rests horizontally on the tank floor, directing acoustic energy upward.
  • Side-Mounted (Lateral): The bar mounts horizontally through the vessel sidewall via sealed flange fittings, leaving the tank center unobstructed.

Operating Precautions

  • Complete Submersion: The ultrasonic transducer bar must remain completely immersed in liquid prior to start-up. Dry operation will cause rapid thermal overload and ruin the internal piezoelectric elements.
  • Workpiece Clearance: Maintain at least 2 mm clearance between parts and the radiating surfaces to prevent acoustic dampening and cavitation erosion pitting.
  • Thermal Management: The industrial transducer set supports extended operation. An intermittent pause of at least 3 minutes is recommended during prolonged runs to prevent excessive thermal stress.
  • Chemical Compatibility: Use neutral or mild water-soluble detergents. Strong inorganic acids or concentrated alkalis require dedicated SUS316 or titanium construction.
  • Generator Placement: Install the digital generator in a dry, ventilated area away from fluid spray and chemical vapors.

Quality Control & Production

Every unit undergoes precision TIG sealing, transducer impedance verification, water-submersion cavitation testing, and a continuous burn-in load test before crating.

Certifications

The system complies with major international manufacturing, electrical safety, and environmental standards:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • CE Certification (LVD & EMC Directives)
  • RoHS Compliance
  • FCC Standards

ISO 9001, CE, RoHS, and FCC compliance certificates for ultrasonic equipment
